Chipset Eaglelake cu DisplayPort

DisplayPort va fi un nou conector pentru periferice de afisare, care va inlocui DVI, VGA, TV-Out si altele. Ceea ce este bine, pentru ca in loc de o gramada de standarde va exista doar unul pentru toate. Iar chipsetul Eaglelake de la Intel va avea suport pentru acesta.

Eaglelake va fi un chipset destinat calculatoarelor desktop. Va avea suport pentru procesoarele Wolfdale si Yorkfield, pentru HD-DVD si Blu-ray, pentru DDR3 de 1333 MHz si pentru PCI Express 2.0.
